Accommodation

Generous spaces for slower stays

Three house layouts, all of them self-contained, all of them arranged around the same courtyard. Whether you are two people or four, the accommodation gives you a whole house to close the door on rather than a room with a number on it.

The houses are furnished for practical, unhurried travel: air conditioning that holds through a Perak afternoon, private bathrooms with walk-in showers, wardrobes that fit a week of clothes, and a desk for the times when a little work is unavoidable. Housekeeping visits daily, parking sits free on site, and the front desk is staffed at every hour of the night.

One-Bedroom House

A self-contained house for couples and solo travellers who prefer more room than a standard hotel room allows. The bedroom holds a single king bed, and the rest of the house gives you somewhere to sit, unpack properly and leave things where you put them.

It works particularly well for longer stays in Taiping, where the days involve a lot of walking and the evenings are best spent doing very little. The private bathroom, air conditioning and walk-in shower are yours alone for the length of the booking.

Private bathroom with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower

Breakfast can be served directly in your room each morning, while the private bathroom features a walk-in shower and the central courtyard pool is just steps from your door.

Two-Bedroom House

Two separate bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen, give travelling companions a degree of separation that a shared room never provides. Parents can settle children in one room and still have somewhere to talk quietly in the other.

The layout also suits two couples travelling together through Perak, or a family visiting relatives in town who want their own base rather than a spare room. Air conditioning and a private bathroom come as standard, as they do throughout the property.

Second bedroom prepared with fresh linens and towels

With one king bedroom and one queen bedroom, this layout gives families and small groups ample privacy, with breakfast delivered to the door and direct access to the courtyard pool.

Two-Bedroom Townhouse

A townhouse arrangement with a king bed in each of the two bedrooms, built for groups of four who would rather share one house than book separate rooms along a corridor. Everyone gets a proper bed and nobody has to negotiate a sofa.

It is the layout most often chosen by families with older children and by friends travelling together, largely because the shared space makes the evenings easy. Breakfast arrives in the room, the courtyard is just outside, and the pool is a short walk from the door.

Townhouse kitchen, dining area and staircase

Spread across two levels with king beds in each bedroom, the townhouse features dedicated living, dining, and kitchen areas with easy access to the central heated saltwater pool.

In-room comforts

The details already handled

Nothing on this list is unusual on its own. Taken together, it is the difference between a stay that needs planning and one that simply works: the kettle is where you expect it, the shower has water pressure, the air conditioning is quiet, and the wardrobe is deep enough that the suitcase can finally be closed and put away.

Rest and climate

Every house is air-conditioned throughout, with a wardrobe or closet and a clothes rack for longer stays, and a desk for anyone who needs to work for an hour before the day begins.

Bathroom

  • Free toiletries
  • Bathrobe

Everyday details

An electric kettle takes care of the first coffee of the morning, and a flat-screen television with cable channels covers the quiet hour before sleep. Wi-Fi is available free in public areas of the property.

Around the house

A look through the doors

The houses share a visual language: calm surfaces, generous floor area and windows that look onto the courtyard rather than the street. What changes between them is the number of bedrooms and the way a group chooses to spread out inside them.
